Our history, vision & mission

Our Story

In 2021, Central Christian Academy recognized the evolving needs of families within our community. As parents sought dependable and high-quality childcare solutions, especially before their children reached kindergarten age, we saw an opportunity to step up and support our local families.

Understanding these needs, Central Christian Academy embarked on a journey to create a nurturing and educational environment, leading to the establishment of Little Lights Academy. Since then, Little Lights Academy has been dedicated to offering a range of programs tailored to meet the specific needs of each community we serve.

At Little Lights Academy, our mission is simple: to be in the community, for the community, and known by the community as the premier choice for childcare and preschool. Join us and experience the best in early childhood education and care, where your child’s growth and happiness and your peace of mind are our top priorities.

Our Education Philosophy

We believe in addressing the unique needs of each child, fostering a love for learning while guiding young hearts and minds with God’s love and wisdom. Through our supportive and compassionate environment, we aim to help every child thrive and shine brightly.

Why Faith-Based Education Matters

This is where your child’s bright future begins.

Little Lights Academy focused on nurturing every part of a child—mind, body, and spirit. Helping them grow into a well-rounded and balanced student through a faith-based education is our top priority.

Being part of our faith-based community gives children a sense of belonging and security. They become part of a larger, supportive family where they can make friends and feel loved and valued.

In our programs, children learn to reflect on their feelings and actions, which helps them develop self-awareness and emotional regulation. They are encouraged to help others and contribute positively to their communities. We create a warm and supportive environment, allowing children to build confidence as they learn and grow.

Our students also experience consistent routines and structured environments, which are crucial for their sense of security and well-being. This stability helps them feel safe and supported, making it easier for them to focus on learning and growing. Our loving and nurturing atmosphere encourages children to explore their potential and develop a positive self-image, laying a strong foundation for their future.

Our Team

Our staff makes sure every child feels valued, supported, and inspired.

Little Lights Academy is dedicated to hiring warm, caring, and experienced educators who are also highly professional. We carefully select our teachers based on their patience, sensitivity, and deep understanding of how young children learn best. These qualities ensure that they can effectively nurture and guide our students within the faith-based culture that is central to our academy’s mission.

In every classroom, there is a lead teacher who takes primary responsibility for the educational experience, supported by a dedicated aide. This teamwork ensures that each child receives the individual attention and support they need to thrive. The presence of both a lead teacher and an aide in the classroom allows for a more personalized and engaging learning environment, where every child can feel supported and valued.

Our staff at Little Lights Academy are not just teachers; they are role models who embody the values we teach. They create a nurturing and inclusive atmosphere where children feel safe to explore, ask questions, and start their faith journey. By fostering a love of learning and instilling a strong moral foundation, our teachers help students develop both academically and personally. This approach ensures that children not only achieve educational success but also grow into compassionate, confident, and respectful individuals.
